Chewie, A few forums back there was a thread of postings on the Forum from a guy who was doing a nice job of restoring an open-cab flat-fender with a slant 6. He claimed that the engine was original and that the truck was originally sold in Mexico or some Central-American country as I recall. He posted some photos which were taken in a garage and the truck still had its hood, grill & front fenders off. If I remember right, it had some funky brake booster setup mounted on the firewall too. Sorry I can't recall the owner, but someone else may know. It looked real nice. Based on your postings over the years, I'm sure whatever choice you make, that you'll do it right. Good Luck, Bruce
