Sickening aint it? On top of that, the new rams are BUTT UGLY as well..Uggh! Heck, last year during the summer, my daily driver was a '70 D-100 with a 318, 4 speed, Manual everything and to top it all off, it had a straight axle with Kingpins! Oh, and it had manual choke too. When Ford introduced there "NEW" F-150 back in '97, that is when the 1/2 ton trucks went to crap. Now Dodge has screwed them up. I dunno, it just seems to me that real trucks should not have automatics or even so much as ball joints! My trucks, even my "new" truck a 1992 F-250 (newest vehicle I have owned to date, dont wanna get newer) get worked and they get worked hard. I have so many tools and stuff in the cab of that truck, I barely have any room to set myself, the bed has my chain saws in it, and other tools and parts, and it has its fair share of dents, scratches and rust. I have no problem hooking up to a trailer with 10K lbs or more and going anyware I need to go with it. I have no problem with going thru the woods with it, going thru mud with it. Its a truck, and thats what it is made for.
Thats just My 0.03 worth. Give me a good old Sweptline anyday.
