Dodge doesn't use a full D80 in any truck - every "D80" axle in a Dodge is
actually the hybrid axle - D80 center section with D70 axles. Chrysler
calls it the 286RBI axle. Other rear axles offered are the 267RBI (Dana
70), 248RBI (Dana 60), and of course the Chrysler 9.25" for the 1500's.
Those are the only four rear axles available in any '94 thru '02 (except for
the new '02 1500's, that is)
