This past week I read an article in the Sun Journal (a Lewiston Maine newspaper) that an group of WWll vets were going to have to close the meeting place that they had bought in 1946. The closing was due to the fact that there are only a handful of members left, and they were going to have to sell the building to pay off the orginizations bills. What a shame that the few remaining hero's will no longer be aable to meet and have a drink together in their clubhouse. This and chances are before there is ever a Memorial built for them, there will only be a handful of them left to ever see it. The son of "one of the few , the proud.
