Gordan can't affort to send them 1st class.
They are not 1st-class mail items so the P.O. doesn't give them 1st-class priority, only Bulk rate.
I was aggrevated years back (1980's) at how long it took to get my issues as there was no websites as today and everything I'd call about, trying to buy would already be sold to someone who had gotten their PWA a week before me. I showed an issue to my mail carrier sister and she explained that this was the situation. That was then and it may possibly still be the same. Don't go calling Gordan if you don't get an issue as its out of his hands once they are mailed, but if it is 3-4 wks late I would try to get a tracer on it at the P.O. So just hang in there it'll come around ,eventually ! My sis said bulk rate is sometimes confusing, but after years of recieving it,I think I have the mail sorters trained and for years now I get it like clockwork. Sometimes the condition isn't the greatest,but its timely. There will always be those who get theirs days ,even a week before others. Rural P.O. systems will generally take longer, as the mail is filtering down.
