Yes, I agree with you if you want to pay 2 to 3 times what the parts cost. Many drive line and axle supply houses sell the same stuff much cheaper. Mopar like all the others put Dana and other axles underneath their vehicles. Just find out who hade your axle and head for the nearest supply house. There is no reason to pay the high prices that the dealship charges.

Some parts are only available at a dealership and have to be bought there.

I am not slamming dealerships. I work hard for my money and I spend it wisely and look for the best combination of price and service. I have a hard time paying $350 for a vacuum diaphram for my cruise control or $395 each for the locking hubs for my truck. The dealer that I go to when I have to amdits that the price of their parts are way too high. The only reason why I go there is to get the dealer only parts and they at least admit that their prices are way out of line.
