I've driven enough equipment, light duty, medium duty, heavy duty and otherwise with Cummins that I won't ever own one. A good example is 2 logging trucks that are set up identically, the cummins has a 6 axle as opposed to the Cats 7 axle, and hauls less wieght as a result. The motors are both 475 Hp, 1850 ft-lb (I'd have to check my specs again but the torques are identical and at the same rpm point.) After 100 miles of up and down hills that cummins is probably 2 miles behind...
