there was a comparison in a boat site about using zero rust versus one of the competitors (POR15) After a year in salt spray, the zero rust parts still looked good, without any sign of flaking. The other ..... didn't look so good.
They used a specific metal prep, but I can't remember what it was. Weired name though.
