Head gasket

I'm ready to install the head on my 230 cid engine, but I don't know if the copper side of the gasket goes up against the head or down against the block. Can someone help me here?

I know this has probably already been asked and answered before, but I guess I wasn't paying enough attention, and I didn't print it out.
