Each set of springs on the back are rated at 3000lbs.There are 2 sets ,one on each side.
The rear axle, (chrysler R-65), is rated at 6500lbs.
These ratings are for warranty purposes, they never wanted you to max. out a truck while in warranty so the manufacturers always set the Max. GVW at less than it would actually carry which is really good for them and the truck. 9500lbs. is a WM300s GVW, so it is fairly safe to say a WM300 will carry 4000lbs or 2-tons and be within the GVW for warranty purposes. A WM300 could very well haul 6000lbs. or 3-tons if loaded correctly.
Many PWs look really rough because they were worked so hard and many have broken frames welded due to users thinking they could do the impossible. They do have their limits so if need be, buy or borrow a bigger truck instead of risking damage to your PW.
