I have used the Superwinch hubs for over 10 years with no failures of any kind, even wheeling some extreme trails. I would prefer the hub to be the 'fuse' instead of breaking axle shafts or drivelines or differentials. Hubs are much cheaper and easier to replace. Just my opinion.
