Phew! I can post again!! For bolts, you can fill a 1 gallon bucket with water, 1 tbsp of Washing(NOT BAKING)Soda, a piece of stainless steel(best) or a piece of Iron, and a battery charger.
Connect positive to stainless/iron. Connect negative to rusty bolt. Make sure you've got a good connection. Turn on charger. The bolt should start to fizz. If no fizz check the negative connection. This affects rust ONLY!! Unrusted metal might turn black but is not harmed and cleans up easily. You can wipe rust off with a towel or a brush. What you eventually will dump out is rust and water. The process is unbelievably simple and effective. Beware, it doesn't loosen up dried grease or dried ATF. I've gotten all the rust off of the Power Assist control valve but what I thought was rusty dirt is unbelievably hard ATF stuck all through the inside. I can't even get the spool out! RRRRR! Looks like I'll have to replace a few parts!!
