Can positive grd systems be converted?

This has probably been covered here before, but since I have only been visiting this site for a few months I have to ask. My '46 WDX is positive ground. What must be done to convert the system to negative ground? And is it practical? I would appreciate any "expert" advice I can get. Thanks. J Henry
