You could possibly get a 4BT (4 cylinder) into a Flatfender and not the 6BT (6 Cylinder). There has been a lot of discussion on this subject and how to do it. The most knowledgeable person on this subject is Charlie in Alaska. To make it a highway truck it will require 4.89 gears, an overdrive or an overdrive transmission, disk brakes to start with. It is not a an easy conversion. A company called MARS use to have a Hurcules 4 cylinder kit that would bolt right into a M37 and the Flatfender if I am correct. It is no longer available last I knew due to problems at Hurcules.

There has been little to no discussion on putting either in a 1950's to early 1960's PG Power Wagon.
