Yea ! Why did the 251 or 256, have a head that said "SPITFIRE" cast on it? Was there a definate difference for one to have a plain head and the other to say "spitfire" or was it just a name that chrysler had cast on them ? Was it a particular division of chrysler such as Dodge or Plymouth that used the "spitfire" head? As with the 318-1,2,3 engine, did "spitfire denote a premium engine? Does anyone know for sure ?
