It sounds like you are as prepared as possible for the trip.

I just finished a 800 mile round trip to Hollister. During the trip, I started to have thoughts about 100 miles from home. "What if something breaks?" "How can I get this back home?"

You also will learn to appreciate how loud it is driving at 50 mph for hours on end.

Another thing I noticed was that after an hour on the freeway, I started to hear a sound something like a loose universal that continue thoughout the trip. It would only manefest itself after 1 hour of freeway. I have yet to find the cause. It does not appear during my normal 25 minute drives around town.

When I did arrive at the event, I had to be ultra cautious driving off road for fear of busting something 400 miles from home AND out in the boonies.

The other thing is driving time. 300 miles is a long way to hug the slow lane.

I used to laugh at the "Trailer Queens" but after that drive, it suddenly made sense to me. Trailers allow people to travel relatively worry free from breakdowns.

Either way, you are in for an adventure. Bring a buddy if possibe and don't be in a hurry. Check your fluids on both ends and try not to drive at night. If you can find someone to caravan with, even better.
Best Wishes
Lonnie
