Sweet.
I put a 304 in my 1949 B-1 Power Wagon. A 392 would have been a tight fit, I barely had enough room for the 304. I have an IH T-98 now, with a PTO to run my winch. I also have a T35, but it is too long to fit without moving the transfer case back. I am currently working on a 1969 1210 4x4 Travelette with a 392 and a T-34. The 392 is getting rebuilt this winter and a 304 is providing the grunt for the time being. I really like the IH engines. They are true truck engines and the 304 seemed like a obvious choice for the PW. Good luck with your project.
