You all convinced me it's "The Famous Dodge Stepside" and 100% factory, and the guy at Elite Auto Sales didn't cobble it together out of his boneyard. Still looks funny to me, but I can see how a person could learn to think it's pretty cool, and I certainly believe it's rare.
Thanks for teaching me the truth so I didn't make a fool of myself asking the guy why he stuck those station wagon sides on an otherwise-nice truck.
