Engine to fit '53 B3 PW??

My engine is blown, with holes in the block and all, so I need a new one. That original head is 23" long. The industrial rebuilt one I found has a 26" long head. Will it fit? Is is still a 230?
And how does the old block come out? It seems I may have to unbolt the cab. And the steering and brake look like they may also have to come out to get enough clearence. Can someone confirm or deny any of the above?
