While lifting a 354 Hemi to put into the back of my truck with a "Quality" finishline engine hoist, One on the supporting arms on the hoist buckled and dropped the motor off to the side. I just lost $1500 worth of shop equipment as it landed on my Plasma cutter and also punched a hole in my solvent tank. Obviously the hoist is gone also. I had the hoist set on the 2 ton peg hole. Nothing I could do with something that heavy but get out of the way when she went! Off to find a engine hoist made in the USA i guess. At least my shop floor is going to be clean from all the solvent that spilled out.
