M37 speedo cable found

To follow up my previous message, my NAPA guy found a speedometer cable to fit the M37. There's a 100" one, 615-1608, and an 87" one, 615-1606. There's also a 60" one, that has the right ends but is way too short. I used the long one, but it is really too long. I had to remove the hand-brake mechanism to get the cable on the transfer and by the time I got it all put together and tested I didn't want to order the shorter one and take it all apart again. I'm not certain the 87" one would be long enough, but it seems likely. As it is I have a rather large loop of cable in the engine compartment, but it doesn't seem to hurt anything. These cables are listed as being for early 1970s dodge pickups, but the ends fit the M37's NP200 transfer and the military speedo perfectly, and cost about $22, which seems reasonable.
