Having owned 3 Willys ('47 2A, '57 wagon, 61 pu) and only one FFPW, the FF is definately the tougher, heavier or the lot. With the 2a driving on the narrow 4x4 trails was a lot easier unless there had been a lot of Suburbans making lots of ruts then you had to drive with one side in a rut and the other side in the center hump - makes for some fun steering. The Willys was definately more manueverable than the FF with or without power steering. Willys did have problems with rusting in certain areas but most cars do.
