in fairness to the jeep pickups they were never designed to do the heavy construction work that the power wagons did so they would not hold up at all when people tried to make them do the heavy work
also dad was an "equipment man" and always had the bigest and best to do the job.
ie XD9 cats with 6 drum carco winches in 1955
