Exactly, They were not made for that type of work. The PWs were. These trucks were designed for different uses. The Willys is a light duty truck the PW is made for heavy work. It is like comparing apples and oranges. Measure the truck in terms of how well it does its intended use. The Willys is not a bad truck because it will not stand up to power line work. Look at things such as the quality and durability of the truck within its intended use. I am not going to downgrade the Willys if it breaks down because I kept hauling 2000 lb loads. I would expect that since I would be exceeding the designed use. It would be more reasonable to expect the PW to handle 2000 lb loads and not fail.
