I use a WWII BeeBee hand cranker winch on my tiltbed trailer. It works great, never have to worry about the battery going dead, and it looks good when a PW is loaded up with it! It says it's a 1 ton but it has 1/2" cable on it and weighs about as much as a MU-2. They are still available for about $50 without the cable.
