Need a fuel pump for 58 315

Checked Napa today for a fuel pump for a 1958 315, they are usually good about finding parts but they couldn't find anything this time. Will a late model 318LA pump work on this 315? Also it has a Carter 2 barrel carb that needs a carb rebuild kit, any help here? I can get it to run for a few seconds by pouring a little gas in the carb but it dies as soon as I try to rev it up.
