When I left, there were only a handful for sale. The owner had purchased 200 Isuzu diesel engines for another project and found out his plans for a conversion were not accepted. This was the whole point in him buying the group as he has zero interest in the preservation of these. He is involved in importing/exporting autos and this is small stuff to him. I am not up on all the laws concerning vehicles there, but most of them didn't make a lot of sense. Maybe 15 or so had been sold off 1 by 1 around the country, but most were still there. Out of the bunch, there was 1 group that were in much better condition. A large number had sat under trees at the base and had up to 6" trees growing through the bed floors. The trees had been cut off above the top of the bed and when they pulled the trucks out, many of the beds were damaged in the process. I showed the workers how to move the trucks using a nylon sling around the front bumper and using two eye bolts bolted thru the end of the forks. This way minimal damage occurs. They had used a chain and god knows what else to retrieve these. The sale bill called for 30 day removal, so you can imagine that banging a little sheet metal up was not on their priority list. Don't know what will happen to the remaining parts, but unless they change hands, no way I deal with this guy again.
