I spent the last week and a half at Ft. Irwin, Ca. and the whole time there I kept saying how that place would be nice with a foot and a half of snow. Then I get back to Anchorage and Puff, 2' of snow overnight. Spent 3 hours on the roof shoveling snow off the roof. And that doesn't include the time spent doing the drive or helping the guy who got stuck right in front of my place. BTW, the whole time at Ft. Irwin there was two, maybe three days where the wind don't blow. It was worst then when the wind blows down from the hill side here in east Anchorage. Robert
