Chris , You must have a powerjoke if you have trouble starting your diesel . I replaced my 1150 CCA battery on my 91 DODGE Cummins with a group 24 650 CCA battery and have no trouble starting it at -7 NOT plugged in . One of my sons hid my extension cord and we had a little over a week of cold near 0 and not a bit of trouble .
