As a wee little guy I liked the pictures of Power Wagons plowing fields and cutting wood in the sales brochures at Goodwin Brothers Dodge where my Dad was a salesman. Brought the brochures home, sure wish I could put my hands on them now. Never could figure out why I couldn't convince my Dad to have one as a daily driver. Now I know.
Not sure if I ever actually saw the real thing until the eighties, when my boys got interested in four wheelin', and the power wagon rally. After attending the rally and seeing the real thing, I was hooked.
