yes you can use a 727 from a 318 as long as you use a tork converter from a 360. I think the output shafts are all the same as far as spline count. should be an easy swap. look for a tranny in any mopar small block powered vehicle, van, pickup 2wd, plymouth satelite, dodge monaco, plymouth fury, chrysler cordoba etc. maybe the 727 from a truck or van have more clutches in them? they should all fit though.
