I got a Canon S100 about a year and a half ago, and love it. I got it because it was tiny (cigarette pack size) and Pam and I were headed to Europe for a month. It is 2.1 Megapixel and I find that I can do 8x10 prints and not tell that they are digital, but thats as far as I can go. I think 2.1 Megapixel is a minimum to get these days. There are more options in the bigger cameras, but I don't feel any need to go there. I like the small size. It is now the S110, but about the same for $399.
