I'm about to place an order for cable since the one on my winch is shot...
If you look at cable specifications, fiber core is more flexible than IWRC. It is also what is currently on my truck ('53 M37).
Since the diameter of the drum on the winch is smaller than what the wire rope people recommend for 7/16", I was wondering what other folk's experiences are with each type.
The cost diffence is not a factor, I'd like to go with IWRC unless it is too stiff to work on the drum well...
