There's an old John Deere 4-cyl engine that came in both diesel and gas versions, plus an LP gas version. All used the same block, valve train, manifolds, and I think the same rods & pistons, but a different crank of course. The roosamaster injector pump fit where the distributor would go on the gas version. Of course it's a lot of lbs/hp in either version.
