420 transmission length? V8 and auto tranny swap?

i am thing of putting a chevy V8 and a TH 350 automatic tranny in my M-37. I dont like it any better than you guys do but I am a college student (no money) and i already have the engine and tranny and all accessories that go with it like starter, carb, heaters, alt, and brackets, However the tranny needs rebuilt.

i would like to know what the length of the 420 transmission is:
length from bellhousing to the rear of the output shaft.
length from the bellhousing to the rear of the yoke.
How many splines doest the 420 out put shaft have?
How long is the driveline between trans. and transfer.

Last question: how ling is the TH 350? i would measure it myself but i dont have axcess at this time.
