Carb Rebuild Question

I bought two NOS Carter Ball & Ball Carbs with mechanical accelerator pumps a few years ago. I also bought two rebuild kits at the same time. I'm not sure how old the carbs are, but I seem to remember the kits are dated from the 40's or 50's.

Will the NOS parts in the carb be ok to use with today's gas (i.e., oxygenated gas, ethanol, alcohol, etc., or whatever it is that we are pumping from todays' pumps)?

What about the parts in the kits? Should I get brand new kits made from modern materials?
