Visit the Braden winch site. There is lots of good information and literature on this site. Braden is owned by PACCAR.

I found the specification sheet on your winch on the above page by slelecting "Worm Gear Winches" then selecting the model number from the Worm Gear Page (http://www.paccarwinch.com/Wormlit.asp)


Braden Web site decodes your winch as follows:

A Design tested to SAE J706A
M Mechanical Drive
S Spacer added between worm gear and housing
3 Winch Model (Model 3)

10 Nominal drum barrel Length between flanges (10" in your case)
R Right hand Gear Cut
LA Left hand assumbly
80-20093 Appears to be a serial number with the 80 possibly indicating the year of manufacutre.
