Ned, A W350 is a 1-ton just as the W300 is a 1-ton. The change in series numbers means nothing as far as I know.
You know a W100-W150 is a 1/2-ton, a W200-W250 is a 3/4-ton, and a W300-W350 is a 1-ton
so I assume the W400 would be a 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 ton truck. The change was just the engineering dept. at chrysler sprucing up their lineup by reasigning the W350 designation to their 1-ton 4x4 trucks instead ofd the W300 designation used for years prior. Hope that helps.
