If the truck has the 6 on 7.25" bolt pattern, he'll have to get custom made rims. I just ordered a set for my '60 Power Giant W300 from Diamond Racing Wheels. They quoted me $130/rim for 9.75" by 16.5" rims.
I also called Stockton Wheel and they quoted me $175/rim for the same size.
If his truck has 8 bolt wheels, he should be able to get rims at pretty much any place that sells wheels.
