I have heard the poly 318 heads referred to as hemi heads, Why ? What is it about them that makes some call and believe they are hemi heads ? If the valves are not opposed with the plug between them, could it still be a hemi head ? Does hemi stand for hemispherical ? Does poly stand for polyspherical ? Is the poly head more closely related to the hemi or wedge design ?
