This is another case of someone buying a Domain name for $9.95 to $49.95 and then reselling it. Typically these domain resellers have nothing to do with the item. The potential customer is someone who wants to start a Scooter page. This practice would be the same as someone beating Joe to www. dodgepowerwagon .com and trying to sell it to a Power Wagon enthusiast.
There are also a number of "." suffixes now being sold. The idea is to confuse the internet browser with sites that have similar names. It will multiply the number of responses from using a "SEARCH" engine. Five of the first seven responses from my search for Power Wagon is the DR Power Wagon, a motor driven wheelbarrow. How about dodgepowerwagon .org or .mus or .ind? I don't remember them all but I am bombarded with offers because I have a ".com" domain.
