Hi Sully,
The head room will allow a 6 footer to sit in there without removing his cowboy hat! One thing I like is that the rear windows roll all the way down, some other brands rear door windows only go down about 2/3's of the way. I do not have the specs on the ferd but the best way to tell cab size is to go to Dodge and sit in the new Rams' back seat. The cab may appear lower because the entire cab is so much bigger than before. The new Ram cab is 6 inches longer than the old Ram and wider than the old Ram. The interior is all new, with metal rear cab floor panels that fold out from under the seat, giving you a solid steel platform when the seats are folded up. In addition to the traditional center storage compartment in the front, the lower center front seat also opens up for twice the front seat stroage space. The entire frame is hydro formed, not just the front section like gm does. The frame is stronger and stiffer than any frame ever built,....except for, of course, our old Dodges! At the Dodge preview that I attended, they had all of the front and rear suspension components for Dodge, gm, ferd & toy on display. The Dodge components were noticeably larger and stronger, and all trucks are now backed by a 7 year, 100,000 warantee. All that and the new Cummins or Hemi make this a hard deal to pass up. I'm counting my pennies and green stamps right now!
