360 in a WC53

Have a 1981 360 with original 81 trans(np???) driving about a 6" shaft to transfer case. Parking brake is one question, where? Emergency brake is second question, suppose all else fails? The original parking/emergency brake worked for both, will the same assembly bolt to the back of the transfer case(I thought not) Any suggestions?
