I bought a Ramsey 8000 lbs. pto winch

Did Dodge ever use anything Ramsey? What do you all think of a winch like this for my 58 W-100? Do all the NP420's have only one pto opening on them? Also is this opening always on the right side (passenger side)? How can I tell how old this winch is?
