Shift levers

Hi Everyone;
I have a 1955 C-3-PW6. The plaque on the dash says that the transfer case shift lever is the one on the right. My left lever shifts me from hi to low range. To switch them it looks like I will need to rebend some rods under the cab. I guess it was reassembled wrong at onetime or another. Any pictures available to see what the rods should look like?
