For the constant lubrication required, I would stay with SAE 90 WAE oil and Lucus Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer. It reduces friction and does a better lubricating the parts. I use it in my transmission, tranfercase, and pumpking. I can say, it has reduced noise and I'm sure wear on these parts. Just me, but I stay away from putting grease where oil should be and oil where grease should be. Their number is 800-342-2512 and can provide you with a local distributor. I would use about a 50% mix, which should significantly reduce wear on those brass gears.
