A friend of mine transplanted GM diffs with 4.11 gears and is running 36 inch tires, next stop V8 the truck is underpowered. Great for topend ( down hill )but the 230 now feels super weak .The bigger you go with wheels/tires the higher your efictive gear raito and the more the limitations of that poor old flathead are shown.
