Ok, I might change my theory because I don’t see any other ports of fittings to support it being a pump.
It is possible it is a rotary actuator of some sort. If the motor turns a worm drive shaft, it looks like the whole bracket with the two pins might rotate, using the bolt shown on the rounded casting as the pivot point.
In any case. I’d hook some power to it and see what happens. If you burn it up, you will then know it is a burned up whatchamacallit.
