I am going to build a 251 for my '51. I was able to find .040 sealed power pistons at rock auto and I had the crank ground .010. I had a hard time finding a set of mains in ,010, I found a sealed power set in Australia of all places. We used to build these chrysler engines years ago and the parts were no problem to get.
That has changed. I got a pile of rings from VPW that look like surplus open stock rings. I have to check them out and gap them, I sure wish I could have found a sealed power ring set for a .040 4 ring piston.
