Their fist sentence where they used the oxymoron, "electric muscle car", caused me to loose interest.
We were at a stop light a few weeks back. The traffic coming from the opposite direction had to immediately start up a hill right after passing through the intersection. We got to sit there and see the show as the oncoming traffic got both the green light as well the green arrow to turn across our lanes.
A small sports car, appearing to be foreign in make (it was not a Charger, Challenger, Camaro, or Mustang) was the first off the line when the light turned green. It sounded like an old 426 Hemi with zoomies exhaust cutouts hitting red line. It really was not accelerating all that fast, and there was no tire spin. I hope the young driver was impressed because no one else around appeared to be.
I have to admit though, I can't wait for Dougdodgeman to swap a 440 (engine) out of one of his trucks in favor of an electric (motor) to see how it does at the Rally truckpull. ;^)
